Things have remained as they were last week – Andorra finished the regular season in fourth place – but the tricolours have left León with very good feelings. Cultural have been proclaimed league champions, but have suffered greatly against an Andorra that has shown itself superior despite having to come back from a goal down in the first half.
Beto Company's team had up to four clear chances in the first quarter of an hour: Lauti shot just wide of the post (5'), as did Almpanis, two minutes later. Villahermosa and Álvaro Martín also tried, culminating some very good fifteen minutes from the Principality. Despite not scoring, Andorra continued to dominate the ball and look for the rival goal against a Cultural team that did not threaten Nico Ratti until the end of the first half.
First, from a corner kick, Pablo Trigueros shot against the post, although from then on the home team eased off the pressure a bit and had their only two chances. Both ended with the ball in the back of the net. The first time, the assistant referee raised the flag to disallow the goal for offside, but not the second time, although Luis Chacón also shot in an illegal position (42').
Despite being 1-0 at half-time, Andorra were still dominant and in the 55th minute, Álvaro Peña equalised with a superb home goal. Shortly afterwards, Nico Ratti saved the home goal and the game was broken in the final minutes. Thus, the visitors' dominance gradually subsided and the scoreboard did not move.
