The centre-back César Morgado has established himself as one of the key pieces for Ferran Costa in the center of the defense. After the last victory at home against Barakaldo, the Extremadura defender was in charge of meeting the media this morning.
Statements by César Morgado
"We are happy. When you win the weeks are good and different, you breathe that positive energy that was needed after the last two weeks at home with bad luck, and also, obviously, a little mistake on our part, not winning the games because of the last action even having played well. This week we did well against another team that is in top positions and playing well. The team did a lot of things propperly and now it's time to enjoy the victory and prepare the match against Nastic".
"After the previous two weeks in which the team played good games against teams that are at the top, in fact one is the leader, but everything was a bit spoiled, we had the need to win at home and give the victory to the fans and the team, which I think we deserved."
"At some point they will have to stop winning [Cultural Leonesa]. It happened to them this week against Sestao but we have to continue little by little, try to get the three points and get closer. This is a long race and we have to keep working as we are doing because I think the team is training at a spectacular level, demanding a lot from us and we will see in May how we are doing".
"It's important to give value to the few goals we're conceding. Not conceding goals make us getting wins. Everyone's work is being very positive and we want to keep keeping a clean sheet."
"I feel good. Every day I try to give our best, the coach is giving me confidence, I am grateful and I feel good like all the teammates in the defensive area and it is time to keep giving reasons to the coach to keep going playing".
"We are lacking a bit of lucidity and accuracy in front of the goal. But we have some of the best strikers in the category and we have no doubt that in the end the ball will go in and that they will score many goals."
