Good game against Girona

Second pre-season friendly and second draw for Eder Sarabia's side. Andorra played very well against Girona and Manu Nieto put the team ahead with two goals in the first half an hour. Girona's goal on the last play before half-time diluted a bit of the great first half of the tricolour side and after half-time, Stuani equalled the score from the penalty spot. The bad news has been the injury to Christos Almpanis, who has had to be substituted.

Andorra entered the game very well and in the first half were superior to their opponent. He has found effectiveness in the boots of Manu Nieto, author of both goals, to translate his good game into goals. In the first, a great play between Lobete and Iván Gil ended with the Andalusian striker's goal, while, a few minutes later, Nieto scored the second with a great shot from outside the area. Lobete had a great chance to score the third, but it was Girona who scored before half-time: Yangel Herrera took advantage of a loss of the ball to cut the gap on the last play of the first half.

Girona came out dominating in the second half and quickly found the equalizer on a penalty scored by Stuani (54'). Alba, before the injury, tried it with a shot too high, while Girona had their two clearest chances at the end. Dani Martin made a providential save on a close-range shot from Almena, while in the next corner Antal headed on the crossbar.
