Albert 'Beto' Company will not continue as FC Andorra coach next season. The Catalan coach, whose contract ends this June, thus brings an end to his one-season stint in the Principality after having managed to return the team to professional football in a vibrant and spectacular end to the season.
Beto Company arrived in Andorra last summer to act as assistant coach to Ferran Costa. With the dismissal of the Castelldefels coach, the club asked Company to step up and take charge of the tricolour bench in the second round, a decision that has proven to be completely correct. With the mission of recovering the identity that had marked the course of the tricolor team in recent seasons, the team grew until reaching the best moment in the decisive stage: the promotion play-off.
From the club we would like to thank the coach for his excellent work in a course full of ups and downs and to value his courage in taking charge of the bench at such a complicated time.
Good luck in the future, Beto. You will forever be the commander of the second promotion in the history of this club to professional football.
