Beto Company: "Do we want revenge? No, we want to win"

The tricolour coach Beto Company has attended the media in the press room of the Estadi Comunal Joan Samarra in the preview of the match against Arenteiro, a direct duel in the fight to enter the promotion zone.

"It has been a particularly good week. We see the team very engaged, with the players with a lot of predisposition and attitude to be starters and we have difficulty imagining the starting eleven. We have had two brutal training sessions".

"We reviewed the last match and it is clear that we leave with a bittersweet feeling because we always want to get the three points, but we went to a field where the other teams normally cannot do what we did".

"We try not to be results-oriented and not to analyze the matches, both our own and those of the opponent, only from the point of view of the result. I think that Arenteiro played a great match against Ponfe, but football has this and sometimes you don't get it right and the opponent does. Arenteiro was better and subdued a team like Ponfe, so we don't pay any attention to the fact that they arrive after two consecutive defeats".

"They are a team that wants to play, that takes the initiative, that if necessary can defend low but that is not their game plan. They are the best team by stringing together two vertical passes in a row and they have Ferreiro who is a differential player. Do we want revenge? No, we want to win. It is clear that we suffered a tough defeat there and we did not deserve so much punishment. We are not interested in revenge, but in playing a good game and winning".

"The challenge is to win the game, regardless of whether the first half is worse than the second. But we want to win by winning the 90 minutes. Of course, I keep repeating the same message: the first halves are even because the opponent has more energy. And I think that the merit of the second halves is also determined by the first because we demand them to be pressing and run a lot. And that's what's happening to us. It's clear that we want to complete a good 90 minutes and get ahead of the score if we can, but we also have to understand that the category is even and what we are clear about is that we want to win".

"We want to be as high as possible on matchday 38. But we have to get there now. We would like to see ourselves in it for days and not get out, but the accounts are settled on matchday 38. Not being there, however, does not represent any barrier on an emotional level. There's no point in being there if you don't stay there and, for that, we need streaks of matches without losing and with victories".
