Anderson Arroyo, velocitat per a la defensa

FC Andorra's sports management announces the arrival of Anderson Arroyo, a defender who played for Alavés last season. Arroyo, who can act as both centre-back and full-back, arrives on loan from English side Liverpool and signs for one season.

Anderson Arroyo (born 27/09/1999 in Quibdó, Colombia) is a Colombian footballer who despite his youth has already travelled around the world and has experience in Spanish football. Trained in the youth categories of Fortaleza, in his native country, Arroyo made the step to Europe when he was signed by Liverpool in January 2018, aged 18. Since then he has been loaned starting with Mallorca B and passing through Czech side Mladá Boleslav and, in Spain again, Salamanca UDS, Mirandés and Alavés.

With the Basque team, with whom he played 18 league matches and 4 cup matches last season, he achieved promotion, while the previous season, he played 42 –39 in the league and 3 in the cup– 39 of which came from the starting XI with Mirandés.

Arroyo is a defender with a privileged physique, who stands out for his speed and also for his technical quality with the ball at his feet. He can play both centre-back and full-back in the right profile.
