An early goal punished Andorra

Andorra faild in the direct duel against Alcorcón and got another defeat away from gome. The game was entirely marked by the early home goal and despite having chances to at least draw, the Tricolours were unable to score a goal that would have opened the match.

In the first five minutes, in which Andorra were unable to overcome the strong local pressure, the match was decided. After a couple of arrivals, the home team found the prize after an interception in the dangerous zone that ended with Victor's backward pass for Javi Perez to open the scoring. After the goal, it took Eder Sarabia's side a few minutes to react but little by littel they managed to close their opponent on their own pitch.

In the final 15 minutes before half-time, Andorra had plenty of chances to tie. First it was Lobete with a header, while a few minutes later Karrikaburu shot too wide. In the 35th minute, Lobete had the clearest chance when he received alone inside the area, but his shot was saved by defender Victor over the goal line. And even before half-time, Anacker deflected a powerful shot from Iker Benito.

After half time, Iván Gil tried it with a shot that was saved again Anacker. Despite the initial push, however, Andorra lost power and in the last half hour it was unable to find brightness in the final meters.
