FC Andorra's sports management announces the signing of Álvaro Martín from Madrid Castilla. The midfielder, who has just had two last incredible years in Primera RFEF, signs for three seasons with the tricolor. Real Madrid will take 50% of a future sell.
Álvaro Martín (Madrid, 15/01/2001) is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who has trained in Real Madrid's youth categories since he joined in U12 category. In between, the player played one season at Rayo Vallecano and has had two loan experiences with Croatian side Sibenik and Dux International. In fact, it was at the latter club in Primera RFEF (2021/22) when he exploded: in 36 games –26 starts– he scored 10 goals.
These good numbers allowed him to return to the discipline of the Madrid II where this year he has become an important player in a team that has been on the verge of promotion to LaLiga 2. Martin has played 41 matches under manager Raúl González and has scored four goals, making his scoring ability clear one more season.
The Madrid player arrives in the Principality to fill the vacancy that remained in the CAM position. Martín is a midfielder with a clear offensive vocation and who stands out, apart from his quality to pass the ball, also for his ability to reach the area and score goals.
