Andorra was better than Leganés in the visit of the leader at Estadi Nacional, it went twice ahead but ended up falling because of a penalty in added time. In the end, despite deserved at least a point, the Tricolours leave empty in a duel in which they have done more things well than its opponent but have not been able to compete in the decisive moments.
The first half was quite boring, although if anyone dominated it was Andorra. Iker Benito, very active in the first half, caused the first two arrivals, while Rubén Bover could not finish an excellent long pass from José Marsà. Leganés, meanwhile, did not come close to Dani Martin's goal in the first 45 minutes.
If the first half was quiet, the second was completely different. On almost the first play after halftime, Jandro opened the score.. Andorra, however, did not give continuity to this and Leganés scored the draw in a set piece (62'). From there everything went crazy. Iván Gil shot too crossed, Franquesa replied with a shot saved by Dani Martín, while Scheidler and Pampín did not find the back of the net on a clear double occasion. In that play, however, the referee awarded a penalty after consulting the VAR and Iván Gil put the Tricolours ahead again (76').
The joy did not last a minute and, and as soon as Leganés kicked off it equalised again on a quick play. Despite that, Eder Sarabia's side had the next two big opportunities, especially a header by Scheidler. Leganés, meanwhile, only needed an isolated play in added time to get the victory from the penalty spot.
