The league is back with more enthusiasm than ever

FC Andorra ends the longest preseason in its history with a positive balance after getting 6 victories and two draws out of the 10 preparation matches it has played.

Eight months later, the league returns in a new format, with a reduced first phase of 20 matches, which will a preparation test for the teams after the break by COVID19.

Nacho Castro’s men have trained normally in Prada de Moles in a week that has served to recover those players who had to be confined by protocol. However, the Asturian coach is taking 20 players to play the match against UE Llagostera next Sunday at 5 pm. A match that will have a limited capacity (50% of the capacity of the Municipal de Llagostera) and that FC Andorra subscribers will be able to follow through the Footters platform.

Interestingly, last season’s game against UE Llagostera was the first game suspended by COVID19 in mid-March. A duel that always offers equality, they know that Oriol Alsina’s men have earned the reputation of being able to defend their local status. The local team arrives at the match after winning the SD Ejea 2-1 in the RFEF Cup.
