Tricolour superiority in the draw against UE Llagostera

FC Andorra has draw in its visit to the Municipal of Llagostera. The first game of the 2020-21 season has shown a brave FC Andorra in the game but unlucky facing the goal.

The match has confirmed the fit physical condition of the tricolours after this preseason, even tough the draw. In the first minutes of the game Nacho Castro’s men showed a fast, very associative and vertical game since the exigencies of the Municipal of Llagostera’s pitch demanded it. The first tricolor approach has come with a strong kick by Hector Hevel that left rubbing the stick of the goal of the Llagostera’s goalkeeper, Marcos. At the half hour of the game FC Andorra had the clearest goal occasion. A good collective action, that ended with a powerful shot by Borja Herrera to the crossbar of the local goal. Then, the locals with Cortés’s actions on the sidelines reached the area but their shots were stopped without problems by Bañuz.

After the break, the match was evened out and got complicated for the tricolor arrivals. The local players, with two ordered four-man defensive lines, hampered tricolor combinations to face the goal. Although the arrivals of the Andorran winger by both sides gave depth to the attack, the local defense managed to clear all the danger. With just ten minutes left, FC Andorra kept looking for the winning goal and Bover almost found it with a kick from the front that rubbed the local goal post. However, the match came to an end with a scoreless draw on the scoreboard and a distribution of points for both teams.
